Tasks – Assigned To Multiple Users

Experience far more versatility with the ability to assign multiple users to a single task, take ownership of an incomplete task, and add multiple notes to tasks in order to keep track of progress. Users can now view tasks assigned to specific patients in the patient navigator as well for quick and easy access.

    Task Ownership

A full change in philosophy has been made to not delete tasks as in prior versions but rather to complete a task. A user can take ownership of a task and then complete a task. The delete all task feature has been removed.

    Tasks – Multiple Notes

Tasks now can contain multiple notes.

    Tasks – Views

Clinic Navigator Tasks have 2 primary views:

    • Tasks assigned / owned by the selected user
    • Tasks created / sent by the selected user

    Additional Filtering Criteria:

    • By – to view other users tasks
    • Status – to also view completed tasks, or to filter to only logged in facility.
    • Type – to view only tasks of a specific type.

    Tasks – Patient Navigator

Tasks can now also be viewed from the patient navigator for the specific patient.

    Document Reminder – Creation

Added the ability to add a Document Reminder during report generation. Settings were also added in Administrator to default the number of days.

    One-Click Outbound Faxing

You can now fax directly from the Save Report screen in Documentation. Faxing screen has been simplified to one screen instead of two, with all of the required information to fax a referring physician automatically defaulted to load.

    Document Reminders – Bar Codes

Bar codes can now be auto included onto the generated plan of care reports. When a fax is received, the Fax Assistant will scan for any bar codes and auto populate the patient the document should be imported into. NOTE: This requires inbound faxing through TheraOffice Fax or Interfax.

    Fax Assistant

Created a new feature in the inbound queue for managing faxes called the Fax Assistant. This new feature will automatically populate the patient assignment if the bar codes are included, but also gives you flexibility on handling more complex faxes without requiring print / re-scan. Merging and splitting combine or split pages into groups for different patients.

    ZirMed Z-Pay Integration

Save credit card profiles within TheraOffice using ZirMed’s Z-Pay integration and process transactions using that profile through Scheduling and Accounting.

  • TheraOffice .7 Update

Evaluation Codes for Physical Therapists & Occupational Therapists

In 2017, physical therapists are now required to use brand new evaluation codes that designate specific levels of complexities for their patients. In order to make certain this new process was a simple transition for users, TheraOffice created a complexity code questionnaire that populates within the top portion of the treatments section. This allows for an easy and accurate selection of the correct CPT code each and every time.
    Expected Reimbursement Rate

One of TheraOffice’s primary goals is to provide therapists with the most information possible while documenting. With our .7 update, they will now be able to view vital numbers such as suggested charges, expected reimbursement, and time to next unit amounts all from the treatment section. This feature was intentionally designed with the expectation that therapists will be able to maximize their total reimbursement for a particular visit much more efficiently with direct access to this type of information on the spot.
    FOTO Integration Expanded

After several months of feedback and additional testing, our FOTO integration has been further improved with the added abilities to download functional reporting data automatically and re-link patients on FOTO’s end as well.
    CPT Codes On Treatments

TheraOffice now allows for a maximum of four separate CPT codes to be linked to a single treatment. In turn, this allows therapists to be much more flexible when it comes to the code selection process. Instead of having to create multiple treatments that are similar in nature, one treatment can house a variety of codes that can be easily swapped in and out for each other with the click of a mouse.
