TheraOffice .8 Update Release Notes

The following features are a full list of all changes to TheraOffice On-Site and TheraOffice Web for the 11.1.8.0 / 14.1.8.0 update.

  • Overhauled the Auto Task and Task system in TheraOffice:
    • A single Task can now be assigned to multiple users.
    • A user can take ownership of a task.
    • A user can now see Tasks they have created and assigned to other users.
    • A task can now have multiple note entries created for it to track ongoing history of the task.
    • A Task view was created inside the Patient Navigator window to see all tasks for a specific patient.
  • Added new features to Document Reminders:
    • Added the ability for a Document Reminder to be created during Report Generation.
    • Added the ability to append a Barcode to a Report which contains a Unique ID of the Document Reminder.
    • Added the ability for the Inbound Queue to scan for Faxes that come in with a Barcode to automatically file them in the Patients Chart and Update the Document Reminder.
  • Added a new Fax Assistant feature to help view and route inbound faxes to the correct patient / case.
  • Added the ability to apply ANSI Institutional ERAs as Payments in TheraOffice.
  • Added an integration with Zirmed Z-Pay to allow for the ability to apply Credit Card Payments.
  • Fixed an issue in the FOTO integration where the Discharge G-Code was not being pulled into the Documentation Data.
  • Simplified the Outbound Faxing screen into a single screen to improve efficiency.
  • Fixed an issue that was causing the Cases Security Group permission to prevent access to the Document Reminders.
  • Improved performance of loading the Intake Validator screen.
  • Removed the prompt the would ask if you would like to apply the payment after it was added. It will now go directly to applying the payment.
  • Fixed an issue that was causing an exception to occur when moving an Inbound Queue item to an Image Note and assigning it to an existing Date of Service.
  • Changed the default Call Script and Text script when creating new Settings for Reminder Call.
  • Added a tooltip to display when hovering over a Template Exception within the Template Exceptions group screen.
  • Fixed an issue that would cause a Template Exception to be added to the Calendar incorrectly, when copying a Template Exception from the Day View and using the Paste Special functionality.
  • Fixed an issue that would not hide the Back to Calendar button after it was clicked within the Day View in the Template Exceptions Group window.
  • Fixed an issue that would cause the Patient Status to always be set to Complete when applying a patient payment to a CPT Code. The patient status will only change to Complete if the balance on the visit reaches zero.
  • Fixed an issue that was preventing the deletion of a patient if they had a credit card profile.
  • Removed the Payment Type drop down from the Payment Window when applying any payment that is not from an ERA.
  • Redesigned the Application Options window in the TheraOffice Administrator module.
  • Fixed an issue that would cause the Document Reminders control in the Clinic Navigator to not load correctly if a Report Name had a length over 50 characters.
  • Fixed spelling errors contained in the Description of the New Evaluation Codes, FOTO Outcomes section, Pain History Diagram and when moving an image note to patient history.
  • Fixed an issue that would prevent Interfax from being able to move an inbound queue transaction to the patient’s history.
  • Added an Application Option for HL7 Interface Customers to overwrite an existing Diagnosis Code when an ADT HL7 message is received.
  • Exposed the Alternate ID value in the Facility Information screen for HL7 Interfaces.

TheraOffice On-Site Only

  • Fixed an issue that was causing a user to be locked out after a successful login attempt on the final attempt prior to being locked out.
  • Fixed an issue that was causing a Template Exception to be added to the Schedule control at 12AM instead of the correct time.

TheraOffice Web Only

  • Fixed an issue that was not selecting the insurance in the insurances window when editing an insurance from the case information insurance window.
  • Fixed an issue for large batches that took over 1 minute to generate.
  • Fixed an issue that would cause Patient History entries and the Application Log entries to display time in CST instead of EST.
  • Fixed an issue was causing a custom Batch Check Rule for Insured Address to evaluate incorrectly.
  • Fixed an issue that would cause duplicate security group entries to be made when double clicking to add a Security Group Permission.
  • Fixed an issue that was causing the Dashboards in the Enterprise Manager to not work.
  • Fixed an issue that would not prompt the user to overwrite an already existing file when outputting an ANSI file.
