We are officially one month away from October! To most, October is a time to do all the fun fall things: carving pumpkins, running through corn mazes, curling up by a bonfire, celebrating Halloween and so much more! In the medical world, however, October means that a new updated set of ICD-10 codes have been released and added to the official list. As always, these codes will go into effect on October 1, 2022. We recommend all clinics download the latest list of code updates as soon as possible.

For web customers, the newest codes have already been automatically added to your database and will take effect on 10/1/2022. With that said, there is NO extra work to be done on your end.
For on-site clinics, you will need to manually download the latest ICD-10 update by completing the steps below. (Please note, the ADI file will be visible in the Add In Manager now. If ran early, the 2023 ICD-10 codes will not take effect until 10/1/2022)
- Sign into TheraOffice as a user who has Administrator access.
- Navigate to the backstage menu (gold button) in the top-left corner of the screen and click on the Administrator tab.
- Click “Add In Manager” under the “Data” section.
- From there, click the “Download Add Ins” button in the top-left corner.
- Next, select the “Other Add-Ins” tab.
- Lastly, highlight the “ICD-10 Update (October 1st 2022)” tab and click “Install.”
- After a few minutes, you should receive a confirmation message that the add-in was successfully installed.
